The earliest prototype of Imaginary Evidence was a CD ROM whose primary purpose was to act as an educational tool for people interested in the work of Forced Entertainment. While that remit was not abandoned, the approach to design (a literal representation of active areas on the stage with mini-lectures in the upper right hand corner) was.
